Covered in soft, stain-resistant performance velvet, this upholstered bed is complete with a foam padded headboard granting ultimate comfort and support while sitting up and relaxing in bed. This velvet bed is a sturdy mattress foundation for memory foam, innerspring, latex, and hybrid mattresses. Eliminating the need for a box spring, the MDF frame of this twin size bed is complete with a wood slat support system crafted with poplar for lasting durability and support. This slatted bed frame rests on gold metal legs with non-marking foot caps and includes a reinforced center beam with two support legs for enhanced stability. Assembly required. The bed is very pretty. The color is as in the picture. It was delivered early and easy assembled. The one thing is that I have a queen but when I put my queen mattress on it without a boxspring of course I have lots of space around it as if it's fit for a king. I have a king blanket so I can hide it. But so far it's sleeps Wells no noise

It looks great but it wasnt easy to assemble. It would have been so much easier and less time consuming if each part was labeled with a corresponding number on the instruction sheet.
